Are you sure that when it goes white, you don't have internet? Technically, the white means that the phone isn't connecting to the Google servers. When data completely drops, you should be losing the whole 4G logo altogether, and just have plain white bars or a roaming symbol.
LOL. yes I am sure. You are incorrect when you claim that data drops don't occur when the 4G is white. I get "connection lost" messages in games, I can't get data from apps such as newspaper, engadget, flipboard, etc, etc. get it??? (I've only had my bionic since launch day--I think I know when I have no data...)
