Still have most functions

Ok my old phone is deactivated but i still can use wifi and gps. Is that normal? Is there any reason to root it? I was thinking about it just to learn how .

A deactivated Android smartphone is just like an iPod on Android. Of course you can still use it.

yep as long as you can recieve wifi signal you can use it. i mainly use my og evo as a mp3 player for when i workout......works great.
