On my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 I still have the ICS 4.0.4 version on my Andriod tab 2 and still didn't recieve the JB version 4.1.1 and when I connect my device to the Samsung Kies it tells me that I already have the latest version

Have you tried - Settings, About device, Software update, Update?

Have you rebooted the Tab lately?

I have tried it but it also doesn't work
and what's meant by rooting the tab and I have bought it since 2 months only

Rooting is a means of gaining write permission to locked files/folders on the Tab in order to install certain types of apps that require it, or loading alternative firmware.

As for your firmware issue, some might recommend you try to get the firmware update from sammobile.com, but I wouldn't do it. Several months after the 4.1.1 update became available for my US version of the Tab, that firmware is still not available on there. It's also easy to mistake firmware for one hardware version of the Tab with another.

Go to Samsung's web site, get the number for tech support and call them.

We have someone on the forum here who claims to work for Samsung, so that person may be of some help, if he/she reads this.
