Still no 4.4 kitkat root - I dont want to flash back.

I did ota 4.4 when it first came out. I have no intentions of rolling back just to root. I really only care for autohide bar so I can have my .5 inch screen back. Please don;t link me XDA as theres thousands of threads and entries that I really don't want to go digging for. Anyone know the cutthroat answer if there is a release for 4.4 easy root?

+1 on the linked method excluding TMO which its not working for at the time of this writing.

At&t 4.4.2 has root pretty sure other models do as well. There's no need to downgrade unless you want a custom recovery.
