Still worth it to get a hero?

I got to play with the hero, moment, and rumor touch yesterday. Even though the moment has a faster processor, it really seemed like the speeds were close to each other; I really couldn't tell the difference.
I liked the physical keyboard on the moment, mostly because I couldn't get the HTC hero to go into landscape mode. However, the moment is HUUUGE. Heavier/thicker than the evo.

I wasn't a fan of the touch feature on the rumor touch - it was finicky and really required firm pressing to work. I'd almost rather go with the rumor 2 compared w/ the touch.

With my first Hero the speakerphone speaker was broke from the factory or shipping. The second one has worked flawlessly. Even with 2.1. There were some little quirks I had that changed but nothing to really complain about.
If you get one with 1.5 just leave it and wait awhile for maybe another update. If you decide to upgrade to 2.1 install it. Do another factory reset and reinstall it. This normally fixes the lag and any rogue aliens that may have landed to take over your android.

The Hero is a good phone. There's no such thing as the perfect phone or service provider.

The EVO is a good phone but I am really not into carrying a lcd flat panel around with me. :D
