Help stock android bloat help!!!!!

Hi if anyone can help me... Basically my gallery on stock no root s4 running 4.3 it showing a gallery data of 56G + that can't be right. Is there anyway to decrease it as its swallowing up all my memory. I have all my photos and vids on my memory card so no idea why its so large considering my stock mem is 16GB and the members card is 64GB I'll attach screen shot if poss.

Hello and welcome to the forums. I see your having trouble with your android device. Now the looks of it you have a lot of gb on the phone . Somewhere along the line it stored everything on the phone and a few extra things . You may need to open this up on your pc/laptop and remove anything that you never seen before or that you didn't add to the sd card . .

The SD card has like 30GB free space but my internal memory is showing that the gallery is 56GB I can't move the gallery to SD card.. So not sure where this 56 GB has come from. I will have a looka at my internal memory with PC later today

That's what i referring to open this up on the pc/laptop and delete all the unwanted things . One way to discover anything that isn't needed is the date all your photos and videos will be dated .another date .

Gone through internal memory on s4 and nothing accounts for the 56G gallery data. No files that big and all my photos etc are on memory card. Once again still stumped

You might try reposting your issue with a title that more accurately describes your problem. It sounds like you're complaining about unnecessary programs that the carriers install on their phones. A lot of people probably ignored it for that reason.

You might also investigate this more carefully. There isn't space on the phone for 56GB of data.

Try DiskUsage, which is free in the Play Store. That should give you a more accurate idea as to what is going in.
