Help Stock Browser Problems

Hi, is there any way of deleting my stock browser and maybe re-installing it if it is needed for the system to run correctly?
I have somehow got a home page that I cannot delete and I don't know where it came from, has anyone got any ideas

Open the browser, hit menu, scroll down to settings, go to General and there's an option to Set Homepage.

If that doesn't work from the App drawer open Settings, Applications, Internet (that's what the browser is called) and clear data and cache. You'll probably lose any bookmarks but it should reset the homepage.

Alternatively, try Dolphin Browser. Far superior to standard.

It does look a lot like your browser is hijacked by an app you installed... especially that part where your homepage cannot be deleted. You could try the temporary fix found here... however, depending on android version, it may be different or the option to reset might not be there for your browser.
