Stock camera??

[emoon91]

Hi and thank you to whomever is helping me. Straight to the point. I have cm7 and I am not happy with the camera app it came with. I remember my incredible 2 stock camera app was much better. Do you know where I can get that apk to download?

Try this out. It says it's for Sense, but it may just work.

One easy way to get the stock camera app is to download a stock, rooted rom. Then rip the camera app from that rom and upload it to your current rom.

I may be wrong, but I don't think you will be able to get the stock camera app to work on a non-Sense ROM. It relies on the Sense framework to function properly. CM7 has a completely different framework.

This very well may be true. I have not rooted my DInc2 yet and therefore, haven't had a chance to play around with anything in it.

One thing you should definately do is make a nandroid backup before making any system changes. That way, if something doesn't work right, you can just restore.
