Help Stock Contacts App Performance & Alternatives

Hey there,

I don't have this phone myself, but I'm helping someone out with a problem their having. They just got a Note 2 with Jelly Bean v4.1.2. They currently have 20,000 contacts uploaded to the phone - yes.. that many.

So from what I've already read on Android phones, its normal to have performance issues with the stock Contacts app, especially if you have hit the thousands.

Does anyone have any recommendations for alternative contact apps that are specifically able to deal with a large amount of Contact data?

I use Pocket Informant and have about 2500 contacts. No idea if any problem with 25000 but I have been told that even the basic contact manager is only limited by available memory
