Click Thanks, or leave a comment... If I've helped, it's nice to hear it.

This is a backup of the Stock Fusion 2 ROM. You need CWM installed(and root). Figured I would share the file, because I searched the internet for days, and could not find it.

---A big Thanks to potatoemonger and cameron581 for all the help.--
And of course a huge Thank You to Shagerty, who made an amazingly easy How to Root and how to install CWM Guide(linked below).

**If you would like a Stock ROM with all the bloat removed, say thanks to Latimer if you use the file.** it is here:

--If you don't have root, here is a link to the awesome guide I followed:

http://androidforums.com/fusion-2-a...-step-root-walkthrough-huawei-fusion-2-a.html

--If you don't have CWM here is a guide for that too:

http://androidforums.com/fusion-2-all-things-root/687275-how-install-cwm-huawei-fusion-2-a.html

--Before proceding, I would HIGHLY recommend doing a system backup of your own, this is mainly for those(like myself) who had a backup, then lost it somehow. Here is a guide, by shagerty , on how to do that.

http://androidforums.com/fusion-2-a...step-step-backup-guide-huawei-fusion-2-a.html

The basic how-to:

Recovery Mode Method:

1.) Unzip downloaded file, place it on the SD card in the clockworkmod/backup folder. (if this folder doesn't exist, you can create it. on the SD card create a folder called clockworkmod and inside that folder create another one called backup, place the file you unzipped in there. This is also where any backups you create will be stored)

2.) Reboot the phone in recovery mode(cwm) when the phone is powered off, hold up arrow and power at the same time until you see the cwm logo(top-hat and orange circle).

3.) Select backup and restore, then select restore(power button selects)

4.) Finally select the file you copied(if you did not change the name, it is StockRecoveryFile)

5.) Press the power button to select, then wait while it restores the Stock ROM.

Done :D

ROM Manager Method:

1.) Download and install ROM Manager from the Google Play Store(Free version is fine)

2.) Unzip downloaded file, place it on the SD card in the clockworkmod/backup folder. (if this folder doesn't exist, you can create it. on the SD card create a folder called clockworkmod and inside that folder create another one called backup, place the file you unzipped in there. This is also where any backups you create will be stored)

3.) Open Rom Manager and scroll down until you see the "Backup and Restore" section. (here you can backup as well)

4.) Select "Manage and Restore Backups" (Grant SuperUser access if it asks)

5.) Scroll down until you see the file "StockRecoveryFile and select that file.

6.) A window will open, that gives you some choices. Select Restore, and sit back.(Takes like 3-5 min)

Done :D

This works great (Thanks!) however I did hit two problems...

CWM Restore seems to fail if there's a space in the directory name, as there is by default in your filename. Changing the directory to remove the spaces fixed them problem. The error message is confusing, as it actually gives an MD5 checksum error despite the checksum being correct...

The Camera app seems to be missing!

Thank you for taking the time to let me know. I am updating the file, and the spaces will be removed.

:o

**Updated the file, and the guide.

Sorry about the camera app, there are several options free at the Google Play Store.

Thanks a lot! I rooted my phone and deleted stuff I shouldn't. Deleted the default keyboard and couldn't connect to the Play Store. This guide saved my ass!! Thanks again!

I apologize in advance if I do not answer your question correctly.

If you have not used the Ice Cream Sandwich or Jellybean ROMs, your 3G is not affected. It is only when you flash the ICS Baseband.zip that destroys your 3G. CyanogenMod 7.2 is Gingerbread 2.3.7 and so you do not need to flash any Baseband.

I do know that people have been having trouble with my backup file, but there is one a few posts down that does work it is this one:

https://www.box.com/s/1wqhel46id3yd026du1q

This link is a Stock backup, with the AT&T software removed, if you would like a true stock backup, I should get my new Fusion 2 on Monday, and I will post a fully working, full stock backup then.

I do hope I have answered your question, and if I have not, feel free to clarify.

Have a good day, :D

Yes that ROM(cyanogenmod 7.2) should have 3G working well.

The backup of mine should aslo have no issues with 3G. I will post a fresh stock backup for everyone who needs it Monday or Tuesday, whenever my phone comes in the mail.
