Root Stock Fusion 2 Backup File Rooted(CWM)

It's one of the links I post at the top of every one of my guides:

4. You MUST backup your 3G. VERY IMPORTANT.. Guide HERE.

If you didn't do it there are a few things you can do, but in all honesty, they aren't worth it. One untested method is, if you're trying to sell it, but that method will likely make it lose its unlocked status. You could get it back if you still had the unlock code, but you said you got the phone in the unlocked mode already.

Here are your options, and the biggest risk it poses.

You can do the 3G patch: Link for this method
Pro:
-This gives you spotty 3G even in the best coverage areas.
Con:
-Your IMEI shows up wrong and some carriers (Mostly abstract ones) will deny service to the phone, because the imei is wrong.

You can bring your phone back to true stock. Link for this method *untested aside from OP
Pro:
You get your full 3G back.
Con:
You may lose the unlock status of your phone.

If you do the return to full stock you may or may not.

I don't have the fusion anymore, and that fix came after it got lifted.

Try posting where that guide is, I believe he uses att though.

Hi there,

I recetly got my hands on Huawei u8665... I get to keep it.
I want to tweak it in several ways so I can use it, but I'm not even sure where to start...
Could anyone help me out?

The carrier is AT&T, but I'm in Europe. First of all, it is locked.
Secondly, I'm not sure if it has GSM or will it even work in EU?
Thirdly, it is Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread?) and full of apps I don't need. Glitchy, really.
And, finally, #4 - I want to root it.

What is possible with this phone? I don't want to spend hours or days on it...
But I'd really like to make it workable. Where do I even start?
