what do u guys think works best with the s3 touch wiz stock look or AOSP custom roms?
lol i feel the same way i dnt know wat to choose im currently using cm10 stable atm and well not really but i liked the camera and settings the camera had but other than tht i didnt use motion features o but i did like the way u can make the videos smaller so u can loook at other stuff while ur video still playsI've had an AT&T GS3 for 3 months now. I use AOSP & Touchwiz. I flash back & forth between the 2. I can't decide which one I wanna stick with. Touchwiz has a lot of cool features. When I use CM10, I notice that the phone seems to run much smoother & apps load quicker & stuff like that. I guess it comes down to what you want. Do you use the built in Touchwiz features or would you rather have a stock Android experience? Also keep in mind that ROMs like CM10 have bugs & some features that may not work correctly. Those ROMs are a work in progress.

true true bro i have a feeling tht jelly bean for s3 for att and metro pcs will be out next year due to some bugs found in sprint and tmobile versionsYeah, I actually think that a lot of the stuff on Touchwiz is pretty cool! Alot of people badmouth Touchwiz but I like it. I use the wifi direct alot. I also do not use the motion settings. CM10 is REALLY fast though. I want it ALL!!!!!!!!!! Lol. Maybe the Jellybean update that we're waiting on will make the phone run alot faster & I'll get what I want w/ the speed & all the cool stuff!

have u heard of Clean ROM?
I use stock to keep the features with an AOSP theme. Best of both worlds. Stock sammy is ugly but man is it feature rich
For the gt-i9300, the kernel in my sig brings dual boot. Only for gt-i9300 though
What is that exactly???
I'm guessing it lets you choose which rom to load at startup. Two roms installed at same time.
Damn! That's pretty cool! I'll have to look around over on XDA & see if we have any kernels for the AT&T GS3 that are capable of that. I kinda wish I woulda gotten the international GS3 & got it hooked up on AT&T. That quad core processor seems like it would be pretty sporty! Seems like there is a lot more deving going on for the international version. What does your device benchmark on quadrant?
Still, the International S3's processor is kind of an issue as well. In fact, most of its documentation haven't been published by Samsung, and that is not good. It isn't just a case that CM10 for the I9300 isn't stable yet while the US variants, which sport a Snapdragon processor, already received CM10 Stable.
nope i havnt tried it but i heard its smooth as heck and has all stock features which is pretty sweet i would stick with clean rom since it will be smooth like cm10 and will have all stock featuresYeah. I read about it on Drippler. It hasn't been ported to the AT&T Galaxy S3 yet has it? I would like to try it out. I looked at the thread for the version that was shown on Drippler. If someone ports it over to the d2att, I'll definitely give it a try. Have you used it yet?
