Stock Internet Browser

I am using the stock internet browser and I and wondering if I am missing out...are the internet apps you can get from the App Store faster and better than the stock internet browser? Also, do they save more battery?

do a search here and also in the app forum. you will see a mix bag of interest. best way is to try them out yourself as to which one might best fit your browsing ways. personally, i've tried 5 different ones and have stuck with dolphin hd.

here's the thing, one day you don't like a browser, but then they come out with an upgrade and it's cool again.

the thing with the stock browser, i've not seen any upgrade to it other than during the firmware upgrades and those are rare.

yea i think you just gotta try it out. i'm trying out dolphin hd browser right now and i like it. does seem faster than stock. heard skyfire might be good too

Do any of the internet apps like Dolphin HD help to save battery more than the stock internet browser?

Well thats a loaded question really. If you find one that works faster then another then in theory it should. Just go to the market and find one that suits your. Needs and see. I personally use 2, miren and xscope. Miren is faster ota and xscope is faster wifi for me. But you may find "joe blow" browser works kick butt. Trial and error imho.

been using dolphin for a bit but im now running opera mobile which i really like. opera mini however didn't even start up.
