Help Stock Mail App - Clear Data

I have over 2MB stored as "data" in the stock email app.

If I was to "clear data" would I have to set up my email account again with all the settings?

What else is stored here? As 2MB for one email account's settings seems a little excessive!

Yes if you clear the data you have to re-set up whatever email accounts you have on the stock email app.

Oh, my email 'data' is 4MB with two accounts ( and 2MB in 'cache').

Some of this 'data' (and not 'cache') is the wastebasket.
Sometimes I can earn 1MB, when I clear the wastebasket
