Help Stock music player scrolling by song title not working

Since I updated to 2.3.3 my scrolling by song title (where the first letter shows up in a grey box) does not work anymore. I can scroll by artist with this fast scrolling and it works fine, however when I try to scroll by song title all I get is a "#" in a grey box and it doesn't do anything. I have 200mb free on my sd card, so I don't think it's a space issue, but it's weird that it works for artists and not song titles. Any help would be great, thanks!

hi there , did you find a solution to the scroll not working on all songs, ive read elsewhere that its because of having so many songs, i just put 10 albums on my phone and the scroll worked....i put the rest of my music on (12GB) and i now get the scroll error again #
