Help Stock Nexus Contact App

this may be a bug or it may be that this is how google/samsung phones work I never had a samsung nor a pure google phone.

when I pull up the stock contact phone app and I search by name, for example say I have 2 numbers for the same contact, the phone number that appears first is always the phone number that starts with a lower digit followed by the higher number.

I might be a little crazy but i like for my contacts to have the cell phone number and then maybe the home number or office number. I have tried setting the cell phone as default but regardless when I search a name on the phone contacts the first number on the top is always the one starting with the highest digit.

maybe I am missing something can anyone see if this is the same for them as well?

Thanks.

I just checked, and it looked like a few of mine did that, but then I checked my mom's contact, and hers is not. I'm not sure what would cause that. What type of contact is it (Google, Backup Assistant, etc.)? I switched all of mine to Google contacts, and now I can manipulate them in Google much more easily. Good luck!

Thanks Dawn I tried both google and back up assistant, but no luck with both they both keep the number starting with the highest digit first. I dont remember it being like this on both HTC Incredibles phones I had.
