Stock on root?

I was wondering is there a way to get root and superuser without flashing a kernal or a rom.I just want stock with root and superuser please help.

Yes, just simply rooting your phone doesn't change anything on your phone just gives administrator rights. If you want a kernel or ROM you have to flash those AFTER you're rooted. Hope that helps

I am not quite sure the original question was given a specific answer. I too am interested in gaining root of my Boost Samsung Galaxy S2 without custom anything. I want to get rid of the bloatware which I think there is a list of in another thread (thanks for that info) but still be able to take the OTA if Boost releases any. Is this possible? Oh and I was wondering if I can root before I activate the phone?

I don't think there is a way to get root and have a stock kernal and rom yet.I have been looking and can't find a way.

Well, I am sure it is just a matter of time, I will keep searching and post anything I find here in this thread, and if you could do the same I would appreciate it.
