Root Stock ROM?

Where can I find the latest stock Evo ROM? My phone is rooted and running a custom ROM but I want to go back to stock for a little bit.

Not sure if it matters but I'm on HW v003. I don't want something that's going to unroot my phone or anything.

Well if you want to be able to flash themes or modify in any way, then flash the deodexed version. If you just want stock and plan on leaving it completely stock, go with the odexed version.

Yea, 3.30 is for the new phones with hboot 2.02. They have different camera hardware. I'm guessing you don't have hboot 2.02, so 3.29 is the stock rooted rom you want.

Of course, a lot of custom roms are based off 3.30, and most people with older hw versions don't have issues. But there's no need to make this complicated. Just go with the 3.29 one.

Worked fine. What's the latest stock OTA? For those with unrooted phones.

Unfortunately, it's a bit fragmented at the moment. The latest for 0001 - 0003 phones is 3.29.651.5 and the latest for 0004 phones is 3.30.651.3. The thing is, some people got new 0003 phones with 3.30.651.3, so it would seem that they just threw that sw version on the end of that batch. It's probably all backwards compatible. The reason we don't all get the 3.30.651.3 OTA is that there is absolutely no reason to roll it out to those with older phone, even though it should work fine.
