Root Stock Rom

Is there one of those for a 32 bit system? I didn't read enough before I downloaded it, installed it... And started cussing (my bad! Lol) had to wipe & reinstall my OS. Lmao. Now I know better -read -READ!

edit: and that's weird...I was under the impression the system would not let you install 64-bit programs on a 32-bit system. I have never tried lol

edit2: just added a check for both versions so it won't let you install the wrong one ;)
 
OK. Installed the correct one for my PC, but for some reason it would no longer let me transfer .apk & .jar files around from phone to PC or around anywhere on my PC from one folder to the next. Didn't know how to uninstall it so I wiped and reinstalled mint 15. I thank you for trying to help tho... Part of my learning process:cool:
 
all the installer does is remove the new version of file-roller and install the old one. It would certainly not break your ability to move files on your machine. Sorry you are having trouble though.
 
actually, could you tell me if this file exists in your os?

in terminal:

find /var/lib/synaptic/preferences
if it shows only the file /path/name it's there. Otherwise you'll get
"find: `/var/lib/synaptic/preferences': No such file or directory"
