Help stock SMS send button greyed out!

hi guys so when i try to send a text or reply to a text, sometimes the send button is greyed out. it happens sometimes only and it's really annoying. i was just wondering if this happens to anyone?

stock froyo not rooted
 
I know that JuiceDefender sometimes won't let you send a text. I just put it to sleep and then wake it up and its fine.
 
I never have this problem...and never have...of course, you know, I let the OS do it's thing instead of killing stuff like a serial murderer... just saying.
 
I've had that happen. Closing and re-opening the messaging app usually solves the problem. Don't know what is causing it though
 
My missus had the same problem, found a running service called skin picker, figured my phone doesnt have this so killed it and she can send messages again.
Funny thing t-mobile had no clue and told her to send the phone in, she would be without it for 2 weeks.
