Help Stock Tasks App

I'm finding it very tough to work with the stock Tasks app. Whenever I open the app, it opens on the oldest task. There is no way to change the sort order to ascending or descending. As I have moved from Blackberry, I have hundreds of tasks in the list which I don't want to abandon. I tried installing Gtasks, but it just works with google tasks and doesn't show any of my already present tasks on the phone. Is there any way to import my tasks on the phone into Gtasks etc.?
 
Try Astrid from the market. I think it allows you to import tasklists. Whether or not this will apply in this case, I don't know. You have nothing to lose, and Astrid is excellent.

gtasks is great. wat do u mean, tasks on ur phone? gtasks has a google tasks list as well as a phone list. so if u create ur new tasks on ur phone list, it wont be synced with google tasks, if thats wat u want. if ur talking about importing items from the preinstalled Task app, i dont think it can be done. but just start using gtalks, n its all easy from there :)
