Root Stock text app not popping up?

What services cause the text app to pop up when received? I'm wondering if I froze something. It doesn't pop up and alert me. It just notifies.

When you say it just notifies you, do u mean as up in the top? Mine pops up with message in the top bar area and shows message, is that what ur wanting

Yes it does that "shows in the notification bar".

but I would like it to do the little pop-up where it pops up on my screen. you know the thing where it pops up in front of whatever you're doing and said you got a message what it is and you respond to it
