Root Stock Theme

STOCK THEME
​

Okay, so, I've seen numerous requests for a stock theme so here it is!

This theme completely reverts framework-res, RES-Cappuccino, SystemUI, boot animation and sound, fonts, system audio files.
Make your phone look fresh-out-tha-box without losing root.
This theme still retains the power menu mod with a stock look for the 'reboot' and 'recovery' options.


This theme will not revert any modded or removed stock apps, you will have to do that yourself and there are many threads on how to do so.

Standard Disclaimer:

Should work with any stock based ROM.


Applying theme:
1) Download file
2) Place theme file on the root of sd card
3) Boot into recovery
4) Create a nand backup (just in case)
5) Wipe cache and Dalvik
6) Choose 'install zip from sdcard'
7) Find the theme file, select it, and confirm installation
8) Reboot and enjoy!
9) Return to this thread and post your comments, criticisms, bugs, glitches, weird shit, or whatever
10) Hold your breath until I respond to your post

As I said this is completely stock so screen shots really shouldn't be needed.

I'm sad at the same time because I've customized everything on GingerSteem 1.0 with Plague extreem kernal. I hated the blue of the GingerSteem Extreme. So I'll need to flash Extreme again, flash this theme, and start over on everything?

Is it worth it?

You don't need to flash the rom again.
 
for Clarity, Im on GingerSteem 1.0. with the plague extreme kernal.


I'd like to be on GingerSteem Extreme.

Only reason i went with 1.0 was because of the theme on extreme.

I thought the only real difference was the theme and the kernal (which you can flash separately) or am I trippin? lol

if thats the case im good. lol. haha..already have the kernal and theme so Im set. thank you for your hardwork nonetheless!
 
naw dont be scared lol just wanted to make sure thats all so when i flash this ill be out the box but will i have have the gingersteem kernal

All the roms out are moderately to heavily themed and this will bring you back to a stock look. That way you can have a neutral base to create your own theme or if you need to take it in to Metro for some reason and want it stock looking. I'm not sure of anyone's particular reasons, I just know I have seen more than a few people asking for a way to revert back to a stock theme and I have been personally asked by certain members here so that is why I made this theme.
