Stock TP or Android.?

Who here is still using their TP with webOS? I just got mine and actually like it stock but I like me my Android. I guess time will tell if I prefer android on a tablet, but what are your opinions on one versus the other?

WebOS is a good operating system, but, the lack of apps did me in! I used Android solely on my TP now!

Holy crud thre really IS a lack of apps... I guess im getting to work on the android now. Sucks because I was enjoying it... And then i went to download stuff..... I guess that was to be expected though. Thanks for the input guys... And another question, if i have something saved on the internal memory, will it show up on android and webOS since I will have the option to boot into either one? Orwill each have its own storage somehow. Music for example

The media partition is shared by both OS's. It's mounted as the sdcard in CM7. So the drive that is mounted when you plug either OS into your computer, will be the same.

For what it's worth I had CM7 running on my TP literally 10 minutes after I turned it on for the first time

You're lucky. Many of us had to put up with webOS for some time while we knew it was under development and due any day. :D

It was pretty terrible for those of us who wanted to download files off of an https address ... apparently webOS is literally incapable of doing that and doesn't plan on fixing it any time soon

My TP was going to be for downloading class notes and ppt's off of the course website, as soon as I found out it can't do that I put it away until the day cm7 was released lol

what's an https address?

well I did my reading and will be attempting to install cm7 on thursday when I have time :D

and webOS is doing its job fine for now anyway so I can wait a little longer:cool:

The only problem I still have is wireless related. If you connect to a lot of public access points, you might have some difficulty.

Yes!did mine last night :D and so far I just can't use the camera at all. Just force closes... and the notification bar force closed on me once.... in less than 24 hours lol. Overall its been good though.

I've never had the SOD problem, so I'm not worrying about the fix. And if I follow certain steps my wifi seems to work pretty well most of the time. There's really nothing stopping me from using Android all the time, I just check out webOS once or twice a week to see if any cool apps have been released there recently (the answer is: not really).

Booting into webOS is probably what's fixing your wifi. :D

The SOD fix also allows battery apps to read status. I'd install it whether you have SOD or not. My wifi is better with this too.
