Root Stock underclockable ROM

Hiya

Can someone aim me at a totally stock Desire ROM that I can use setCPU on please?

I was using StarBurst which is great, battery lasts loads longer as I can set the governor and loads of space for apps, but it's just not quite stable enough for me to rely on, so I've gone back to stock at the moment.

Well theres teppic74's rooted stock which has an a2sd add on...

Which you could use with any of these sense kernels which undervolt (you can underCLOCK any kernel with SetCPU)

Most people tend to go for the leedroid rom though, but I always recommend the above.

You say any Kernel can be underclocked, but my standard one (rooted) won't, so I presume you mean any CUSTOM Kernel can be?

Also is Apps2SD more reliable than Data2SD which I think is what Starburst uses?

I thought even the stock ones could be underclocked (but not undervolted) but I could be wrong. Ive never tried because we had to go straight to custom with ye olde rooting methods.

I'm not sure, using "No Frills CPU Control" the clock drops to 245 then instantly rises back up to 998. I'm running Teppic's now and all seems good so far, might try a different kernel as the one that comes with it is missing the smartass and conservative governors - which both gave me good results on starburst.

I dont get along with smartass. Find it laggy when waking the screen.
