stock video player

I searched through the forums but was unable to find an answer to my question.
On my Droid X I'm unable to find an icon or widget for the stock video player. the only way I have found to be able to launch it is to dig through the "files" for the video I want to view and then open it. Is there a way to set a shortcut or create an icon for the video player?

I tried RockPlayer, but got tired of the logo, and don't quite want to dish out the $ for it yet.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Not that I can find. I will give mvideoplayer a try, looks like the free version has add, just have to see how invasive they are.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I retired my search with Meridian
Meridian Media Player Autonomy - Android app on AppBrain

Haven't updated to this newer version but it's now sdcard card ready. I can say that it has played all files that stock and Rock couldn't play. Was stuck on rock player for awhile but kept searching till I found Meridian and I'm still using the free version, for now.

I'm sorry I meant it's not sdcard ready. But this only means you can't use widget if installed to sdcard.
