Stock Virgin Mobile LG Volt Wallpapers

I have a strange request but I had to do a hard reset of my Volt & I lost the Virgin wallpapers (the one I really want is the stock one that comes on the colt when we first turn it on. Could someone please upload a copy of it or something please cuz I got rid of a bunch of Virgin Mobile bloat & must have canned something that won't let me update them now. Anyhow if someone on Virgin could do that I'd really appreciate it a lot! Please & Thank You as always.

Are you looking for the LG wallpapers, or the Virgin Mobile ones that come with the Mobile ID? I have all of them, but I'm not sure what's the best way to post them. They don't show up as regular gallery pictures.
 
I want the Virgin Mobile wallpapers and yes your right they do come with the mobile id apk but no matter what I do it won't redownload I must have deleted something! do you have the virgin mobile fonts app I deleted something cuz no matter wifi or 3-4g they wont download with the mobile id apk. Thank you to everyone helping I appreciate any input!

My phone is completely stock; I haven't rooted it or deleted anything. If you can tell me the best way to share any files you want, I'm glad to help out!

Just extract the wallpapers from your copy of LGHome_Theme_Optimus.apk or post it up on Dropbox and I can do it for you
 
please aml1025 &Gendo420 I just like having those wallpapers and I've looked everywhere and what Gendo420 says looks like the easiest way! Please & thanx !

Can I do this with a non-rooted phone? I've been looking both using a file explorer on my phone and by plugging it in to my home computers and haven't found how to get at the necessary files. It feels like there's something ridiculously obvious that I'm missing here :confused:

If all else fails, I suppose I could always screenshot the wallpapers on an otherwise blank page and upload the images, but that wouldn't give the changing perspective as you change home pages...

I just don't know how. If you (or someone else) can give me an idea of how to go about it, I'll gladly do it! Usually I'm not this clueless but I looked around and can't seem to find anything that's relevant to accomplishing this. Thanks!

Hey thanks again for trying to help me get this stupid wallpaper! I took a pic of a previous post from Gendo420 briefly explaining how to do it! I don't think you need root to extract from a apk file! You may have to download like file manager or something like that, es file explorer may work. Hopefully if anyone else can offer a lil insight

Thanks all - when I have a little more time this evening I'll play around with it and figure it out. Darn work keeps getting in the way of getting things done ;)
 
I found the file Gendo 420 listed using ES File Explorer, but I don't see how to upload a copy. Sorry, I'm usually pretty good at figuring out things with my phone, but this is unfamiliar territory for me. I'll keep working on it though!

Upload it to Dropbox and post me a link to it, I'll pull the wallpapers from it for you

I feel bad asking you to walk me through this, but somehow the steps aren't coming together for me. I can find the apk through a file explorer, and I definitely know how to use dropbox, but I'm not seeing how to get the apk from the system folder in order to upload it.

Once I know how to do it, it'll be no problem, but right now it's completely unfamiliar territory to me. Even a link to a guide would do it - I just haven't been able to find one. (I really hate admitting technical incompetence, especially for something that seems pretty straightforward... really wish I didn't have to ask!)

It's no problem, for me I use ES File Explorer, I long press on the file I want to upload then I tap the 3dot menu button and select share, then I pick Dropbox from the list, then I tell it where in my Dropbox to upload
 
I got a question once you upload to your drop box how would you gain access cuz I've only shared and uploaded videos/ pictures via dropbox I didn't know you could upload apks. And then how could you or someone else gain access to what I uploaded to my drop box? I'm just curious so I can learn too please & thanx as always!
 
Thanx but I have those Wallpaper's still I'm looking for the 3 other ones the one mainly that first came on the phone when we first turned it on! Any chance you could please please try and upload them! I'd be most grateful!
