Stock Virgin Mobile LG Volt Wallpapers

Thank you aml1025 & Gendo420 I still can't get those stock 3 wallpapers! The mobile id apk I had still but I reinstalled yours cuz I must have uninstalled something the virgin icon etc apk that's what I think I'm missing! Any chance you could do the same with that apk! This will be my last try. Thanx

I've looked in both, the SprintID one holds no wallpapers, I looked at the apk you uploaded it has a couple of wallpapers I don't have, but not that particular wallpaper :confused:

*edit* I've even uploaded your screenshot to Google and did an image search to try and find that particular one with no luck

*edit #2* I'm going to say carrier specific wallpapers are not stored in those apks, must be housed in another one, since Boost wallpapers are not there, let me do some digging

I'm pretty sure I got rid of a Virgin Mobile specific apk it was called Virgin Mobile icons & something & I'm pretty sure with that the sprint I'd apk will work, its gotta be something I erased cuz I can't redownload anything with the mobile Id apk. Thanx for your help, can't believe it's this difficult to get a stock virgin wallpaper that comes preloaded on every Virgin Volt!
 
I'm going to ask a stupid question, have you run the mobileID app and re-downloaded the Virgin Mobile ID pack?
 
Yes I've tried many times it doesn't download anything! Says nothing available. That's over WiFi and mobile data.
 
I still have the wallpaper, so it's only a matter of figuring out where it is. Since I'm not familiar with looking through these files, it's confusing to say the least. At the very worst, you could always factory reset your phone in order to get the Essentials ID to re-download to your phone. But do you want the wallpaper that badly?

That's how I lost the wallpaper before was when Virgin forced me to do a factory reset and I no longer had the wallpapers and they wouldn't redownload last time soI highly doubt it would work now! I've kept trying with no luck.
 
Any chance someone could upload the virgin mobile my account apk. I erased that awhile back, that may have something to do with them dam wallpapers not downloading Cruz with the mobile I'd apk the wallpapers should download? I think If I could get that, the 3 update apks. And the virgin icon apk. I bet if anything will make it work again that may help it, I dunno? I just want that stupid wallpaper & I hate giving up! Anyhow thank you to all who have & continue to help me on my quest for this wallpaper!
 
When you run MobileID does it open? If so does it show that the Virgin Mobile Essentials is installed? If so go to manage and then remove it and retry getting it. Shouldn't matter what you removed being that this gets put back when you do the hands-free activation to completion after a factory reset. I just did it on my Boost variant. Did you also make sure to NOT connect to any WiFi before you finish downloading and installing VM Essentials? Sorry if redundant, just trying to think of everything. Maybe try another factory reset because something hiccupped?
 
Why doesn't somebody with VM just apply the wallpaper and remove any widgets/shortcut/ect so the screen is blank and take a screenshot, upload and mjhealy1978 could just crop the top & bottom.

I have no virgin mobile essentials installed anymore I got rid of it I also got rid of my virgin account apk. I've done all the troubleshooting I can think of I think your rite I need the essentials apk. Cruz when I run the Mobil I'd apk it says no updates and nothing available. If you or anyone else can upload the virgin apk.s Ill give it a try. Thank you very much for your help Gendo420.
 
Another dumb question coming at ya: when selecting what wallpaper to choose do you have this option? For me it's the only way to get the Boost specific wallpaper, figured the same would be for you.

Yes sorta the same when I click on the I'd wallpapers it says no I'd wallpapers found. Herez a shot k, thanx for the continued help!

This zip file contains the 3 wallpapers that appear under the ID wallpaper option on my phone.

Root was necessary to find/extract these files. I found them in the
/data/data/com.sprint.w.installer/files/wallpapers

directory, and I'm pretty sure one must be root to read /data.
