Root Stock vs CM/Icarus

I'd like a show of hands from those who do not feel the need to change the ROM. I've had the Ascend for over two months now and I am content with the stock ROM. How many others feel the same way?
 
If you are happy with the stock rom the stay with it. I'm sure there are lots of people who are. That is the beauty of android phones, you can change it if you want to. It all depends on what you want to do with your phone.

exactly!!!!!!!!

But!!!!!!!!! I was ready to smash my phone n its laggy, slow locking up stock rom against a wall b4 I installed a custom rom. now only yime a stock rom will be on my phone to to clean n mod to piss out of it!!

PS I never leave my cars/trucks/bikes stock either lol
 
Nope. I had Icarus on it a week after I bought it. I really have a lot of friends who ask me to put it on their Ascends as well. To each their own though. As long as you are happy that is all that counts. ^.^
 
No I wasn't happy with stock rom. It was too slow and gaming sucked. I have now installed CM7 and its very smooth and gaming is waayyy better:)
 
Two reasons why I dumped the stock ROM:

1. Icarus is optimized and runs SO much smoother
2. Apps2SD FTW
