Root Stock Widgets on Aftermarket Launcher

Ok, so I know that LG locks the use of its widgets to only its launcher. But how are ROM makers able to get the factory widgets to work on the launchers they use (Holo for Black Plague and Xperia for BrokenOut). Or put another way, I have the LG Memo widget backed up from my old Optimus M (because its the ONLY memo widget that lets you add and view memos right from the widget), and when I had any ROM but stock running I could put that widget on any launcher I chose. Now that Im back on ZVA it wont let me put it on anything but the factory launcher. Anyone have an answer for me. I love GoLauncher but I REALLY want to be able to use that widget. Thanks in advance for the response.

You have to be rooted tho. Put it I your system>app drawer, you may have to reboot

Now this trick cant be none of the stock ROM that's rooted can it?

Yes it can. All you need is root and a file explorer that will mount system as R/W. Im on stock rooted ZVA and it works perfectly

I use the one included with Rom Toolbox pro but AndroZip or one of those would work fine.
