Help Stop Music Player From Auto-Launching

my car stereo has bluetooth and every time i get in the car, it auto-connects to my phone (as expected), but then it launches the music player app and starts playing music automatically. it's annoying as hell and i don't know how to stop it.

any ideas?

i have "media" unchecked in bt settings; does nothing.
i completely kill the mp app before getting in the car; still launches.

One option you might try is setting a different app as the default music player, not sure if it will work but if you dont play music in your car and the app you choose doesnt support bluetooth-out (dont know if note2 handles it on a system level or a program level) that might make a difference.

Also, just for trouble-shooting purposes if your music is all on the SD card try removing it before getting into your car and see if it still auto-launches the app.
