Help Stop phone from auto-deleting eMails.

Newbie
Quite maddeningly, my LG GT540 insists on deleting any eMails more than four days old.

To make it worse, there's not an option to save a message, or create a folder.
I can move individual messages, but only to the pre-made Sent, Drafts, Outbox folders etc.

I can't find any settings to fix this; the receive messages settings section has an option to download messages from the last 3 days, 10 days, 30 days etc. but I can't find anything about keeping messages.

It's infuriating...

(Running Android 1.6).

Hi, I'm not familiar with your phone. Are you talking about the Gmail app, the Email app, or some other email client?

Hey, thanks a lot for the reply.

It's the standard eMail app, pre-installed on the phone, not the gMail app (it only allows me to access one account).
