Help Stop System updates? Galaxy SCH-1800

I Have a rooted SCH-1800 VZW and since its been rooted (firmware 2.2) it will not complete the system update taking it to GB. Not that I want it anyway. The system still tries to trigger the update every now and then.

Is there somthing I can freeze or uninstall to stop this proccess?
