Help Stopping Notification Sounds

Hey all, I listen to a lot of Pandora/Slacker on my hour drive to work. On occasion I get a notification sound (reminds me of a sound from Seinfeild) that I can't locate which program it is coming from. Nothing is popping up on my notifications bar, I changed my email notification sound and even shut it off completely, still does it, changed my text notification sound, still does it. Also it's weird because it won't play that sound thru the headphone jack. Music stops, and plays from the actual phone itself like a text message notification does.

Any insight would be great!

The notification could be from any mail, sms, twitter or messaging app you have installed. Have you tried going into sounds and turning the notification volume all the way down?

menu > settings > sounds > volume
