Help Stopwatch Errors

Stopwatch app that came installed in Galaxy S3 is inaccurate. When compared to a GPS driven time standard the Stopwatch function looses 6 seconds in 30 minutes. This seems unacceptable since a $10 stop watch has drift less than 0.2 seconds with the same test. The stop watch function in an iPhone showed very little drift also.

Remember with satellites we have to account for quantum theory lol they travel very fast relative to us.
Seriously though the s3 (or Android in general) clock is very inaccurate.
I use the app 'clock sync" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.org.amip.ClockSync to keep my clock syncd with the atomic clock and it needs corrected by at least a second a week.
I know this doesn't help your issue but have you tried other apps?
