Welcome to Android Forums! 
With your SD card inserted in your phone, plug your phone into your PC with the USB cable. In the notification area you should see a USB icon. Pull down the notification bar and tap on USB connected. You should now be asked to enable USB storage. Once you enable that, your SD card will be displayed on your PC as a removable flash drive. You can copy files to and from it directly.
