Help Storage problem SGSII need help..

I was watching youtube with Opera Mobile. It was set to desktop mode if that means anything. When all of a sudden I get this error saying "Internal phone storage is getting low, please remove some applications blah blah". So, I clicked on it when all of a sudden my memory kept going down. It was at 1gb free then dropped to 100mb.
I literally have like 8 apps installed that aren't default. Just standard Facebook, Opera, IMDB etc.. I have no idea what is causing it. I calculated all the apps I have installed in Internal and it was only 400mb at most.. It's even werider because it's now not even letting me install 4mb apps to it even though there is 120mbs free. Does anyone have any idea at all what the problem is? My phone is also acting sluggish after that popped up.

I have tried:
Rebooting my phone
Clearing Cache on all apps.
Deleting every single app I downloaded.
Deleted all my texts and recent calls.

Still it's full and giving me the message. I have literally uninstalled all my apps. I have deleted every single picture, video, text, phone call... just about everything. Yet it still gives me this error. What is going on?

Best do a factory reset. Can do that by switching on the phone using the Power+Home+Vol Up button. It brings you to a menu where you can do this.

There is also a data reset in settings/privacy but not sure if its the same thing.

Cheers
