Help Storage space.

Hi everyone. Iv had the sgs2 for 4 days now and im loving it. I haven't bought a micro sd card because i thought what was on the phone was enough storage for my needs. Well, iv put a few albums on my phone and already its said sorry not enough space on phone for any more albums? What it says right now is usb storage space available 9.59gb, and device memory available 1.78gb.
So i don't get whats going on? How can i make sure that albums get saved to usb memory?
Im pretty new to android, last phone was a iphone 4.
Any advice will be most appreciated.

Its ok, sorted now. It wouldnt work via wifi but i could drag albums on to my phone via usb cable connection. Strange how i could put about 14 albums on my phone via wifi in the first place then it says i can't put any more on? anyway, sorted now : )
