Help Storage space

My phone is behaving as if it doesn't have any storage space even though it has 10 gb free. What can I do?

10GB of internal storage free? External storage (SD card) doesn't count when downloading files or installing apps.

The phone comes with only 4GB of storage in hardware (part of which is taken by Android), so it can't have 10GB free.

what you can do is move some of your apps and files to your ext, sd card ie : games ,videos,pictures and mp3 music files. do this by selecting my files folder and open it ,select all files ,-extSDCard, create folder and name it ie- music mp3 then return to all files select
sdcard0 browse to your music files and select what you want to move by ticking each file, then in top right tap the three line symbol select move,then extsdcard then the folder you have made then move here , hey presto done!, Too move your apps and games, select the settings app scroll to application manager select, then scroll to app or game and select move to sd card , continue to move stuff untill your phone performance improves, good luck

Where exactly is this "move to SD card" option? I don't see it when I access it via applications manager..
