Ok maybe the question isn't clear enough or no one knows, but lets try this again.

Is there a way to download ringtones from zedge and storing them on the sd card so that if I want to pick a different ringtone or set up ringtones for certain people without using the zedge app?

You should be able to go into the File Manager and copy the zedge folder from internal memory to SD card.
