I wouldn't. Not until it is determined that flashing that modem to your phone is safe. When it comes to flashing, when in doubt, don't do it!
Yeah flashing modems/firmware to a phone that isn't on that specific carrier will definitely brick it.
Roms not 100% sure but there's a chance.
Is there a way i can pull the modem that's already on the phone then flash the sprint rom with odin then put the stock modem back
Tbh, i wouldnt try flashing anything youre not sure of until youve rooted, flashed a custom recovery then made a nandroid backup incase it goes wrong mate
You can flash a modem zip after flashing a rom though if you have a custom recovery
Okay thats what i'll do thanks !
But if you do flash the modem that's not for straight talk, 90% chance you'll have spent $450+ for a brick.

Nope i'm going to just send it back
Okay i'll just wait for the boost mobile s3 version to come out that one I know for sure well be the same model as the sprint model
OKay I'm on MD4 i flashed clockword recovery then flashed an MD4 rom everything works perfectly thank you guys !
Word of advice here
Don't flash any sprint modems/firmwares, straight talk isn't sprint.
End result: true brick
