Help Straight talk!

Hello.
I am coming from the Ally forums to the Droid X forums, or hopefully at least.

I bought a Droid X from a friend of a friend, and it turns out that it has been flashed to Straight Talk. Is there anyway to flash it back to Verizon? This would help tons, because I have NO money left.

Needless to say, it's the last time I help out a friend of a friend.

For my Ally, when I wanted to get OTA updates, someone gave me the stock, out of the box firmware, straight from his phone, and it worked great.

what did they change to make it work on StraightTalk?
as long as VZW knows the ESN, I wouldn't think it would be a problem

I would flash it with the SBF file (there are MANY threads in this forum on how to do it) and do a factory reset to remove anything relating to the carrier, then call Verizon with the ESN. That should be all that's necessary.
