Help strange battery issue

Ever since I received the froyo update, my phone will randomly state "BATTERY IS FULL". This happens generally below 90%, sometimes as low as 60%. Even stranger, this only happens when the phone isn't being charged. And it never happens when the battery is actually full. Any ideas on what I can do?

I suffer the same pain. It is a strange issue. 3 -4 times a day I get the same message "Battery Is Full". Anywhere from 12% to almost full. It occurs when using the phone, talking texting and when it sits on my desk @ work.

I have drained the battery a couple of times and charged it up (which takes forever since it sounds like HTC chose to slow down the charge rate .. Please HTC/VZ change it back). I have done battery pulls and the issue still continues.

Also looking for any help the forums folks give me to resolve this.

Wish I could help. I randomly get the same problem. I have also just drained it and charged it while off.. seems to help reset things.
