Help Strange Bluetooth behavior

I am having strange Bluetooth behavior with my S2 (brand new).

It disconnects from my Jeeps UConnect and will not connect back up without a reboot of the phone. It seems to drop connection when the screen blanks out as well.

Also, I am seeing problems with the Bluetooth attempting to restart after I toggle it off with the standard widget. It says starting then just goes back to off.

I'm new to Droid coming from iPhone which just worked so this is new for me and somewhat frustrating.

Anyone else seeing issues with the Galaxy s2 Skyrocket and the Bluetooth?

Hey,

I'm having the exact same issue with my Skyrocket. It's been very frustrating to say the least. Comming from a blackberry that would connect 100% of the time and never lose its connection.

Let me know if your able to find a solution. I was going to trouble shoot with my wireless provider today. I'll post if I can find a solution.

Otherwise love the device.

I am having similar issues except I have a Ford Truck and it's sync. Mr Ed (I think) posted a few items for me to look at and try but nothing has worked.

To update you guys on this I went to Jeep today and they basically said that my phone wasn't on the compatibility list.

I have the 730N (RHR) Media Center, software version is 2.110, which is in a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara.

After a couple hours of trial and error this is what I have come up with.

-The phone will pair with the unit.
-Phone Book (Contacts) do download, go to notification and make sure allow is checked.
-Audio will stream.

-If you initiate a call through the Uconnect button on the steering wheel it will accept a voice command and search the phone book and make the call, issue is when you hit the button to hang up, hangs at this point and things start acting strange.

Workaround:

Incoming Calls, Accept them through the phone and end them on the phone works fine. Accept the call on the touchscreen works fine and ending on the phone or touchscreen.

Outgoing Calls, Start them on the phone and end them on the phone or let the other party hangup and the drop call allows the head unit to go back to it's previous task.

Note: I can't remember if starting the call on the steering wheel and then ending by touchscreen or phone works but I'll test this next time I'm in the vehicle and update the thread.

I combed the web and there is no new updated software's or firmwares for the head unit. I'll keep a lookout for them.

Hope this helps.
