Help Strange Gmail Issue

My primary Gmail account suddenly says that it has no connection which is strange because I can sync my second account with no issues and can check my primary account on my laptop and iPod touch with no problems. I have tried to turn my phone off and on and have tried to manually sync but no luck. I cannot send or receive from the Droid and just keep receiving the retry button/message. Ideas? Thanks!

I had this problem with my gmail account also. I found that the only way to fix it is to delete the gmail account off your phone. But if its your primary gmail account your going to have to do a factory reset to delete the account. Once you do that you'll be able put the account back onto the phone and it'll work again.

Bleh..Ditto..I have to do a reset for the same issue..No more email on Primary account..but gmail on secondary...
