Strange Observation

ok, im sitting at my MacBook with Bose AE2 headphones on and plugged into the computer. no music is playing, and its on mute. I have my Verizon Galaxy Nexus plugged into the computer for development, so the screen is on. I move my phone and set it on top of a bunching of wire from the headphones and i suddenly hear a clicking in the headphones that appears to be caused by the phone being set on the wire, up near the camera. even with the phone unplugged, if the screen is on and unlocked, there is a clicking sound. about 4 clicks per second. repeated this process using apple headphones/speaker/controls and nothing happened, and again with the headphones that came with the phone, nothing. this could be because they are not as sound proof as the around hear headphones, but idk. always reproducible with the Bose. no idea whats causing it or perhaps its just a fluke, idk. if anyone can reproduce this, let me know so i know im not crazy.
