[neurochirurg]

this thread is copied from the desire forms but i have the same problem and searching for help plz

( Hi, every now and then I am getting a box on the screen of my Desire saying "SMS Message" followed by a local landline prefix. i.e 01922
then an option to save or cancel. There is no message or any other number. Sometimes there can be 20 or 30 of these to wade through before they go.
Any ideas?)

Not sure if this is a similar issue I have been having... is your phone branded?

I am on Orange and I get a text that is blank that comes from a wierd (3 digit) number with a triangle in it... I think that I read somehting about it being from Orange voicemail or something like that.

If it is, then go in to your messages, hit the menu button and then go to the "Manage SIM card messages" option, where you can delete - this sorted my issue out, not had any wierd texts since.

Just a thought, do you have Cell Broadcast switched on?

Settings -> Call -> Cell Broadcast (ticked or unticked?)
