Help Strange USB Behavior

AeolianReflex

I recently wiped my 2.3.4 Inc and have been really happy with the overall faster performance and new found app storage space but ....
When I connect my phone to my PC via the USB cable and choose Disk Drive, the PC shows a CD Rom which can't be accessed and then eventually my SD card & internal memory show up as removable drives after about 5 minutes. Now Windows is telling me that my phone is a TMobile myTouch and wants to install drivers for it as a solution. I have already reinstalled HTC Sync 3.0.5606 off of the HTC Incredible web page thinking that this would take care of the problem but it didn't. The same thing happens on my notebook (my main computer) and my work PC. Before the wipe the SD and internal memory would pop up after maybe 10 seconds.
Any ideas on how to remedy this?

Try this old hack that was for stopping a windows pop-up about installing something as a CD when connecting the phone, it might be something you did a long time ago and forgot about and it got reset when you reset the phone.
