Strange, very strange

Hi All,

Not sure if this is a bug or a setting I have on my desire. I recieved a txt message from a facebook friend but the body of the message was from TMobile about my bill! Freaked me out a bit!

Anyone experience this problem?
 
I just had this as well, I think it's got something to do with a topic I started earlier "HTC Sense + Facebook".

Looks like it might be caused by people on facebook who have their mobile number as a text string ie. "ask me for it".
 
Yeah this happened to me also in messages from tmobile. I deleted the friend that was coming up in the message as I never really spoke to them and after a reboot it solved the problem
 
FWIW, this happens to me as well...
Mildly irritating, but not the end of the world. I have to say that the way FB etc contacts get merged is a bit confusing some times, but there you go.
 
Problem is that I knew this was from t-mobile because of the content. Slightly concerned if it mixes up other txts.
