Using ES File Explorer I cannot get my Galaxy Tab 2 tablet or Galaxy S2 phone read my HP windows 7 pc. I can get the Tab 2 to read my Dell laptop over my home network. Tab 2 and Dell only connect by wifi. HP is hardwired to to a Bt Home Hub 3.
It does not matter whether I connect my Tab 2 or S2 to either the HH 3 wifi or its extension WAP; they both work.
However with the HP desktop I get:-
"Login fails"
This maybe caused by:
- The account has no permissions
I have checked the permissions for the partition (HP F). It allows Everyone Full Control. I can read Users > Public on the HP.
I need to resolve this as I am to add NAS as the storage for my home network which will be hardwired to the BT HH.
